Our UR5 robot is installed in a repetitive pick, place and actuate application. Sensing the arrival of the packed stock and using a bespoke vacuum pick up head, the UR5 picks 3 cartons, placing them into a simple bundle wrapping machine normally operated by hand. The robot pushes and pulls the slide just as an operator would. This simple pick and place operation is undertaken in thousands of operations around the country, every day, afternoon and through the night. Our robot will work across all 3 shifts, every day of the year with absolute consistency and reliability.
